I checked out www.whitehouse.org this morning, and that is some seriously funny stuff. The article about Bush's speech yesterday was literally the funniest thing I've read in months. Thanks.

its horribly funny. ari's response to last question is so over the top outright lie that the whole press corp start laughing at the absurdity of it and ari decides to get out of dodge while the getting is good.

ie the whole press corp *know* that its a total charade, a total scam.

It is actually somewhat imipressive how Ari can steadfastedly refuse to answer questions even when they're asked over and over again. "Will the President rescind the order banning assassination of enemy heads of state?" "He hasn't, who knows what the future will hold." "Would the President be willing to rescind the order banning assassination of enemy heads of state?" "He hasn't, who knows what the future will hold." (I'm guessing that means 'yes'.)

btw - the article on Bush's speech on whitehouse.org was simply priceless...priceless. I forwarded that puppy to a pile of my friends from law school and it got rave reviews! Thanks again.
