Party Super - Early AK Hand

3rd or 4th hand of the tournament. There's T250 in the pot when it gets to me, I'd pick up 25% of my stack. I have a feeling this goes uncalled probably 80% of the time, possibly more? Those times its called, I'm only hurting vs AA.

UTG calls t15, UTG+1 raises to t75, UTG+2 calls t75, 2 folds, MP3 calls t75, 1 fold, Hero raises to t940...

Thoughts?

I don't like my pushing all my stack in very early in a tournament when the blinds aren't hurting me unless I have aces or kings. Do you feel these players could lay down 1010-QQ and do you think they would call with anything less like AQ? I just don't think that the risk of them calling is worth 250 chips.

i think 99+ and AJ+ are quite capable of calling here...

I guess it is a marginal call then IMO. I might raise something in the range of 200-250 so you do not pot commit yourself but still have chips if he plays, also your in position so you shouldn't want to take that away from you by moving in. If you think pairs above nine would call you I would probably not go all in because I don't want to risk my tournament on a 50/50.

how often are you actually risking your tournament though? (how often do you go uncalled vs called)

This is definately a profitable play. You take this pot down probably 70% of the time and the rest you're often a coinflip or better.

I think that range is way to wide. You will never see AJ call this and will rarely see 99 or 10 10 come along.

My 2 cents worth (that's a highly suspect amount)--- Fold.
I think w/4 callers that there are at least 2 pair out there if not AA or KK & someone limping in. I really think it is a coin flip & early in a tourney is not worth a coin flip!
