At what point do I stop firing here?

Party $10+1, still far from the money.

My only read on the villain is that he is pretty passive...I put him on a draw, and just kept blasting away.

BB (t8012)
UTG (t3740)

Preflop: Hero is CO with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

Flop: (t4300) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets t600, Hero raises to t2000, BB calls t1400.

Turn: (t8300) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)

Hero???

Villain has t4012 left in his stack.

Check behind here? Put him all-in?

I think you have to slow down. He's obviously got an ace and he doesn't seem prepared to let it go. You raised the flop. He still called. If he checks the turn, and you think you can steal it, then fire. But if he bets, I'm folding.

Oh, and be sure to type in the chat box: Guess you have an ace. I'll fold my KK here. NH.

I'd slow way down here. If he's passive, he may have just decided to call you down instead of betting himself, and he's probably got you beat.

Being a donkey I bet again. He called and turned up QQ.

Either he had me read like a book or just didn't have fold button. I think it was the latter.

You're making a mistake I used, and still do, alot. Try to outplay a worst player than you, in a bad spot. You said yourself he's passive. he'll pay you off when you have a hand. He doesn't create action, but follows it. You gave a perfect reason to slow down the betting. Not only is he not folding an ace, he's not folding lesser hands as well.

Follow your read, make 'em pay in a better spot. You can't always out play your opponent.
