nl 50 value bet?

I limp on the button with black 7-7 after 3 limpers, we all have about 50$. No reads on anyone as this is my second orbit. The flop is 2c,4s,5c. Sb bets 50 cents into $3.00, one of the ep calls and I bump it to 3.50. (raise more here?) Sb folds and ep calls. Turn is Qh. Ep checks and i bet 8.00 into 10.00. Ep calls. River is 9d. I bet 12.00 for value. Standard or check behind turn or river? Thanks.

what worse hand do you see calling you here?

just check behind.

Re: nl 50 value bet?

I usually check behind most marginal rivers. I've been wanting to get more value from these nl 50 players and i thought this was a decent spot to bet considering i think i stand a chance at getting a call from A-2,A-4,or A-5. This thinking is probably flawed and i probably need to give these nl 50 players at least a little more credit.

check the river no hand you beat is calling you

As the others have said, this is a routine check behind. I would have probably also slowed to a crawl once the flop raise was called.
