NYC Book Signing

Hi all,

I wanted to let everyone know that I'll be in NYC on October 15th at the Satellite Club to do a book signing. This is my first East Coast trip since SSH came out, so I hope to meet a lot of new 2+2ers. I'll probably give a short talk, but mostly I'll be signing books and socializing. I'll have books for sale, but feel free to bring your tattered copies. Everyone is welcome.

DATE: Saturday October 15th
TIME: 4PM - 6:30PM
LOCATION: The Satellite Club
ADDRESS: 38 West 38th Street, 5th floor, between 5th & 6th Avenues - NYC
PARKING: Available on 38th Street
MASS TRANSPORTATION: 34th street Herold Square Subway station
COST: ABSOLUTELY FREE!!!!!!

P.S. While I'm having my bachelor party on the same weekend, this event is just a book signing. So don't be scared to bring the kids.

To the Bachelor Party? I don't know Ed...

I'll be sure to show up. This is a nice 5 minute walk from my apartment in Murray Hill. Maybe I'll even let you sign my girlfriend's cleavage just to get you in the spirit for the upcoming Bachelor Party.

Good food, good beer, good cars, and ground zero for one of the most horrific events in human history all lead one to think: Honeymoon ahoy!

Or not.

We plan to honeymoon in Costa Rica with LMD, but we're also going to hit Germany next summer for the World Cup. So expect to see me in nine months with a shaved head painted red, white, and blue.

Uh...do you think you can have the NL theory book finished by then? I just want to know if I can purchase a copy before you are inevitably beaten mercilessly by European soccer hooligans.

OK to give address like this?

Wish I could be there - alas I'll be in the middle of moving that weekend.

Also, just wanted to check - given recent events in the NYC area, I would have thought the club wouldn't want their address given out except by more private means. But maybe I'm being an old granny.

The Satellite Club is a private event space, hence its all on the up and up. Good point though Randy, thankfully this time it's ok. Now if they were hosting poker games there.. different story.

Even though I only stayed for about 15 minutes, it was real cool. Thanks Ed for the signing and I hope that everything went well later on! And I hope you liked the Swedish beer!
