You love your Fish Soooo much, but.......

let's say you have a fish tank with lots of fish in it. you love these fish more than anything you can imagine. you feel bad that they do not understand you or your unconditional love for them. sometimes you try to pet them, or comfort them, and they all scatter. they are deathly afraid of you. you've got to find a way to express your love to your fish in a way they will understand, so they will not fear you any longer and instead welcome you into their lives and embrace your love.

how do you do this?

there is a logical answer which i will post later if nobody gets it right.

cheers!

i think it's either become a fish, or grill the fish on the barbeque..

or maybe get one of those little fish castles that you put in the tank.

The easiest way would be to become a fish yourself, I think. That way, you could 'speak fish' and relate to their state of being.
You'd never be able to get them to understand the totality of humanity, 'cause they have no point of reference, but they could 'get it' in fish terms.

If you can't become a fish, then I guess you have to build up their trust by treating them kindly, being around a lot, and giving them 'treats'. Eventually, they will trust you.

But would they understand your 'unconditional love' as a concept? Probably not, if they have no equivalent emotion themselves. If you wanted them to understand "love", you'd have to do some fancy engineering, and put it into their little fish hearts--lol

Put them in a pot and do a really thorough cleaning of their tank out of love. Then return them and watch them all die from ammonia poisoning. Free them and flush them out to the ocean, just like in Finding Nemo.

Either:

1) Become a fish.

2) Serve up a few scrumptious humans (or parts thereof) for
fishfood every day. For example, if you make a shortlist
of candidate 2+2ers, there would be at least the challenge
of finding them and catching them. Just make sure you are
careful to clean the tank regularly; don't serve leftovers!

Yes, start by showing them the WSOP on ESPN, give them a computer, plug them into the net, and they will find their way "home," like spawning salmon.
