Who uses Zonealarm?? PLEASE READ

I was just reading another topic and it was saying something about keystroke loggers and screenshots and such from spyware/viruses.

Question to people using Zone... When you install partypoker does your zone alarm ask you for permission for mouse movements? I thought this was awefully strange and decided to block it and when I did my mouse wouldnt move. the only way I could play poker was to accept it. Im sorry if this has been posted before but this is really starting to make me wonder what that damn thing is and whats its purpose.

The mouse movements are used in the site's random number generator. If you want to know how that works, it's a long explanation, so I'd suggest you search for the explanation on these forums.

Bottom line is that you are safe by allowing permission for them to track your mouse movements.

Yes. Need not worry about it.

Thx for your replies. I should have posted earlier about this but I never did.

Never had that with Zone Alarm, I believe it's a trusted firewall though but that does sound strange.
