Please stop using it.

I'm normally fairly easy going, but this phrase is really gay, and it bugs the [censored] out of me.

All the smart people on 2+2 can surely come up with something more original and less mainstream....please.

Alright, I'm sorry for the post. I've actually haven't been keeping up on the 2+2 forums lately, so I guess I didn't notice how much it's been used. I'll go rack my brain and think of a better title for the post.

Whoops, I can't edit it. Oh well. At least anyone who had a serious problem with it is going to ignore it anyway, so it'll just slowly slip down the forum until it rests with all the hundreds of other ignored posts.

Oh, don't worry about it. I just didn't realize it was such a touchy subject. If I'd known, I would've come up with something more original. Maybe the new way to say that something has become socially irrelevant should be to call it "The NHL" or "WNBA."

I guess I'm more unoriginal and more mainstream than I thought. I think this certainly deserves it's own thread, however, as evidenced by the fact that I (and apparently some others) didn't see your post. Although I'm willing to give you all the credit.

Look on the bright side. Next time someone posts that jumped the shark has jumped the shark, you can link this thread and point out that they jumped the shark when they jumped the shark by saying that jumped the shark has jumped the shark.
