Didn\'t see this in the FAQ.

i'm just getting my feet wet in some .25/.50 6 handed on Stars, seeing if i can hold my own in cash games. What kind of VPIP/PFR %'s do you guys have?

Through my first 300 i have what appears to be utterly ridiculous numbers (40vpip/27pfr). I wanna know if i shouhld calm down a bit, or if i can play this way and continuue winning.

sorry if theres recently been discussion about this, i didnt see it and wasnt in the FAQ

There have been a couple of questions about it, and the problem is that so much of SHNL depends on post-flop play that it's really hard to break it down to stats.

I think that typical is probably between 20-25%, though.

In my opinion, preflop play really doesn't matter very much in NLHE compared to postflop play. If you can outplay them postflop and the stacks are deep you can play tons of hands profitably.

Of course the exception to this is when you get a big percentage of the money in preflop, which basically makes it not deep stack poker.

You can also make a nice profit by playing squeaky tight at the micro-limits.
