Do players have natural games?

I have been playing on-line for 3 months or so, hold-em and Omaha 8/b. Admittedly, the samples for both games are small, but I think I have a better "feel" for Omaha 8/b. I seem to have better hand selection pre-flop, and believe I quit more marginal hands post flop than at hold-em. Am I just fooling myself?

Sounds right to me. Omaha 8 or better is quite a bit simpler to become decent at than Holdem.

Why is Omaha easier?

Why is Omaha easier?

The relevant point here is that O/8 is easier to have a decent win rate at for a good, but not great, player. At least in the very loose games usually found at the lower levels. Whether the game is easier is debateable, clearly it is easier to become profitable at with fewer skills.

Omaha at the lower levels is pretty cut and dry. You either have the nut, a draw to the nut, or you fold.

It isn't that clear in HE. It isn't unusual in HE for five players to go to the river and a middle pair take down a hand.
