2000 NL party poker...

I dont believe in reads so i dont have them... or im just too lazy to get them unless they are super obvious tonight.

I (4,200) raise 10 9 c. UTG + 2 to 70 (i probably look LAG). i get action from MP (5,500 solid regular) and UTG limper (2,000). Flop ... K c Q x 5 c .

UTG checks, i check, MP checks.

Turn is a 2 c. UTG bets out 375 into 220 pot, i make it 1,000 he goes in for 1,000 more or so.

He then types "i hope you dont have me beat."

My move? Comments on all streets besides preflop appreciated.

easy call since most expect you to semibluff flop with flush draw he easily has two pair/ set / top pair with flush draw...

You pretty much have to call since it's only 1k more and it's unlikely he puts you on the flush. I like how you played it, I'm guessing villain had something like 55/KQ.

dang. you guys are goood arent you? yeah, i puked, was about to click call, puked again. hit call. he had KQ... i woulda put him on at least A K, prob smaller flush or J or A high flush at about 20% each... surprised you say its an easy call... i mean i cant fold but basically it was somewhat of a pot odds call.... i dont think im ahead in that spot all that often.

dude, you are getting better than 3.5-1, this is a very easy call. and i really dont think its all that close with say 56cc either.

not looking at replies, this is usually a flopped set or 2 pair. when they wayyyyy overbet when a 3rd club comes because they missed their check/raise, then when someone raises they can't give it up A) because they think you cant have it because you didn't bet your draw or B) because they get attached so they go all in. i'm guessing 555 and i'm very happy to get it in here. also when he says "i hope you dont have me beat" he most likely means i hope your flop check wasn't because you flopped a set, or someting along those lines, i think he is being sincere.
