TheBeat spliced on WSOP04
Maybe this was posted before, was studying and this happened to catch my eye on the TV screen.
Pete Giordano went out in 50th place knocked out by David Williams, but as he's leaving the table you can clearly see Kevin Schaffel still at the table. But Schaffel, who finished 42nd on the main table (knocked out by Harry Demetriou), was eliminated around 10 minutes prior in the episode. You remember Schaffel as the guy who almost hit running eights to Demetrious trip queens. I might've not noticed this had I not known Giordano was "TheBeat". Random example, I know, WGAF, just thought some people might find it amusing. |

At least they didn't make up any hands.
...Possibly. |
Re: TheBeat spliced on WSOP04
Certainly hope not, but it asks the question "Why even splice Giordano after Schaffel?"

Re: TheBeat spliced on WSOP04
Beats me, could be a ton of reasons for switching about the order of when two hands were played...

Re: TheBeat spliced on WSOP04
Simple answer...Some little geek who usually is busy fixing Lilo & Stitch cartoons in a backroom at Disney Studios got a bunch of film dumped on a table in front of him. He has no clue how to play poker or what order any of goes in. He throws something together at random and they dub the commentary over it. That's my guess anyway.
