How come the blinds got so big at the end of the 5DC

It looks like it was pushbot at the end. There were some strong players in the final 6 and this didn't seem to give them much of a chance to show what they could do.

It was a 5 day tournament with 550 players and started with real deep money. I wonder why the blinds got so high at the end. Was it the format or did the players play cautiously until they were forced to push by the blinds?

WPT policy to cause action, and ensure the word "All In" is said.

It's very sad.

Just for comparison. Party 50+5 I played over the summer.

Blinds at final hand: 7500/15000, Ante 0, Chips in Play 730000, M for average stack 16.2.

Bellagio 5 Diamond Classic: 300000/600000, Ante 50,000, 16000000 chips in play, M for average stack 8.

I played heads up for a while in that tourney too so it took a while for the blinds to even get that high. How sad is it when a low buy-in party MTT gives you more play than a WPT event for $2 million at the end? I don't believe anyone "deserves" to win a poker tournament, but Antonius played the best I thought, and he at least deserved a better chance.
