I would raise the pot preflop, this guy will call you because he's raising solid hands only basically. I might also check this turn and evaluate.

Ah missed that it was potlimit.

Since having AA oop is so freaking hard I have started pushing more preflop with AA in NL.
Often with massive overbets.

You should bet more on the flop. 5$ is better.
Your small bet can be interpreted as weakness which makes the hand hard to read.

Check-call the turn and check-fold the river unimproved?

If he has QQ or TT he most certainly will check the river behind.

If he bets the river he must have AK, AA (not very likely) or JJ (full house on the river). Remember 2,4% PFR.
