T2/Brunson Rant

I am sick and tired of seeing people show down T2s or even T2o to take a pot! Arrrrgghh! Why does everyone think they're Doyle Brunson????

The things is, you are only remembering the times that the T2 wins... it won't stick out in your mind all the times that "doyle" pays you off like an idiot, either folding his T2 on the river, or mucking when you show your hand. It'll obviously lose more than it wins - that's why you and I don't play it.

So everytime you lose to T2 (or any other rediculous hand), just think of it as the tip of an iceberg poking up out of the water. You can't see it easily, but underneath the water its a big mass of bad calls and FTOP mistakes that is all contributing to your profit.

Last week at a home game, guy on my left folds and mumbles "Doyle..." while he mucks.

Flop comes T22 and while people are still playing the hand out he says "Man, I woulda just flopped a boat!"

I say "No f*cking sh*t tomato can, you just announced the cards you were mucking when you just HAD to say "Doyle.." You think that's priveleged info, Amarillo?"

F*cking mush.....

Excellent post.

I is extremely foolish to complain about opponents' actions which put money into our pockets.

I wish more people played T2 and all the other weak hands that some people think are lucky.

Regards,

Al
