KJo in sb, flop resistance, clarkmeister thashit

sorry but this guy is 43/13 and that's it. 30 hands. if he's paying attention, i seem weak (well how we seem when we miss every flop - i've raised preflop and checked flops or bet flops, checked turns and folded rivers, etc.).

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, BB calls, MP calls.

Flop: (6 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB raises</font>, MP folds, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB caps</font>, Hero calls.

Turn: (7 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">BB bets</font>, Hero calls.

River: (9 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero donkpunches you.</font>

Don't really think I like it. Explain your reasoning a bit?

I'd like to say I play it the same, however I don't have the balls to 3-bet the flop...

I wait and C-R a non-club turn. I find people often play their flush draws this aggressively HU or otherwise...

i decided to call down after he capped the flop, and then i saw that river card and decided i didn't want to let him only get bets in with a flush.

just check fold the river then?

If you check the river, I think he bets absolutely any hand including the few that you beat...

Gah, I have thought for 10 minutes and I cant figure out whats best.

I would. I find it extremely unlikely he'll bet here with a worse hand, and it seems like a bet only serves to occasionally fold half the pot if he has K8 no clubs, but on Party who even knows if that happens.

no one thinks he could fold a K (or have one in the first place)?

Re: KJo in sb, flop resistance, clarkmeister thashit

I can't see a guy who's 43/17 folding a K HU with position on the river. I bet and fold to a raise...

Betting out allows him to fold a non-club hand that beats you... Isn't this the point of Clarkmeister? He'll only raise with the nuts or (2nd, 3rd) and you can fold...

Maybe I'm misinterpreting the point of Clarkmeister but what small-stakes villain fold any hand that beats ours here? Even without a club I would expect a crying call from any villain at least 90% of the time...
