Is this the worst call ever? stud/8 hand

It is sixth street and I have three deuces and a nine on the board. The pot is $18. My opponent calls $6 with only a gutshot draw. No chance at a low, a flush, or trips/house.

I saw someone in a 1-5 stud game in Vegas call a bet from quad Kings on board with a completely rainbow board and no Ace on 6th street.

No, because obviously he won the hand.

Even if it wasn't just a bad beat story, it is far from the worst call ever.

It's not the worst call ever.

It would have been worse, for example, if that nine you had showing were an ace, or even some other baby.
