Sleight of Hand card tricks

I want to learn these. Anyone have any ideas? I found this:

but I'm obviously skeptical about ordering.

He has a deck where evey second card is the same and is shorter than the others.

You can get one for $5 at the local magic shop.

Fun, I had one a few years ago, but you cannot do the same trick to the same person more than once.
