I dont know why i asked, its not like any one here likes pokerroom any way and plays there. (At least at .5/1 or 1/2 )

I play 2/4 at pokerroom and there are usually 3 2+2ers at the table, including me

I prefer has anyone here ever read the poker forums at http://www.twoplustwo.com? They are helpful and free.

Obviously, I wouldn't let them know I read two plus two. If I did that, they'd realize I'm a weak tight nit and run all over me.

P.S. Knowledge of the existence of this board also bestows one with magic powers.

I have noticed that tendency too, that many 2+2'ers are a bit weak-tight (still quite good players), so I play quite aggressively against them. I don't really know why, because I feel that the advice both in the 2+2-books and on this forum is to play aggressive.

hey - what's your VPIP? How's Mason? Are you going to David's home game this weekend? ... I hear all the moderators will be there!

or just simply - "hey - you do also post on the www.twoplustwo.com? use pokertracker and PokerAce?

Berating the fish usually works

Re: Finding out if there is a 2+2er at the table

I usually go around the table and ask each individual player if they read or post at http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com, if they use pokertracker, if they prefer pokerace or gametime, explaining that I prefer pokerace because it displays all mucked cards. But if I'm too tired I might just give a "sup trout".

Look for the guy who seems utterly miserable and disgusted, taking little pleasure in the game, hypercritical of others, yet winning $ and very sure of himself.

i'm gonna go ahead and say that i think people vastly overestimate the skill difference between people who read 2+2 and those who do not. 90% of people here are probably not qualified to carry even Tiffany Williams' jockstrap.

they also overestimate the % of people who would come here and become devotees if they only knew about it...

use PAH instead.

The thing is, would any self-respecting 2+2er admit to the table that they are one . . . ?

Is it considered proper form to acknowledge the presence of other 2+2ers in some fashion?

No flames please; honest question.

I don't really care but if I recognize a name I will say "sup bro." LOL'ing at the weak tight comments. I actually had somebody tell me I am the most weak tight player they have ever seen before. I take it as a compliment I guess, cause the cash just keeps poring in.

I kinda doubt some of this. when I'm playing 6max, it's about 50% of the quality players are 2+2 players. Then again, it is absolute (the 2+2 garden these days)
