Backed into the backdoor second nuts, your play?

No reads on my table as I am an idiot and have been doing other things while multi tabling, so my reads are non existant.

This is PokerStars .50/1 PLo. Villain has $52 in chips, hero has him covered.

Hero is dealt J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in the CO in an 8 handed game. Hero opens for $3.50 (Pot) which is standard if I want to play a hand and am first into the pot in LP. Button folds, SB (villain) calls, BB calls.

3 to the flop pot is approximately $10.

Flop comes K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

SB checks, BB checks, hero checks.

Turn: A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

SB bets $3, BB folds, hero calls.

River: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

SB bets $3, hero raises pot ($13), SB raises allin ($29.90), hero calls.

Final pot $108

Thoughts on river play against an unknown are appreciated.

Against an unknown I would have just called his first river bet.

Hard to tell what is going on here vs. a short stack, but I would just call on the river. Why risk all that money to win a small pot?
