25NL: Almost the Nuts - Go for Broke?

All the hands represent the same theme: Hero's got the almost-nuts. Hero is bet into. Should Hero be willing to reraise all-in on the hands #1 & #2 and be willing to go broke if need be (or just call their initial bet/raise)? Should Hero be willing to go for the split in hand 3?

Just posting these hands mainly to try to get a feel for at what point one should be willing to push the "near-nuts" into a betting opponent.

Re: 25NL: Almost the Nuts - Go for Broke?

Fastplaying is the new slowplaying.

Hand 1: There's a 2-flush and you're giving others a cheap/free chance to hit a flush. Lead out with a bet.

Hand 3: Fold PF. Lead out on the flop.

I'd push here. I'd be guessing but..

If I can offer some advice.

You are asking the wrong question.
You should ask.

Should I give other people free cards to beat me?
Should I offer infinite odds to my opponents?
Should I put myself in situations where my opponenets can't make a mistake, but I can?
Should I slow play?

Re: 25NL: Almost the Nuts - Go for Broke?

1: Lead turn - you have current nuts but are vulnerable. If nobody had a Jack you arent making more money anyway so pot the turn. ANd if you were willing to go all in anyway, why risk the river getting checked thru? Pot the river (I'd call the push too, with one eye closed)

2: I might just call the river raise with the paired board (too weak?) I'm not calling your push unless I am not afraid of your nut flush - unless this guy sucks, your huge reraise is -EV

3: Folding preflop keeps you from losing to AJ here - why do you think he overbet the river...9/10 times this is the nuts and just hoping one of the other players has an A for Aces full of 3s.
