2/4 JJ.. standard?

2/4nl - villain has 300, I cover. He is solid regular, and probably views me as same. He makes it 20 from ep, and only I call in lp with JJ. We see a flop of:

9s 3s 5h

Pot is around 50, and he bets 32. I raise another 64, making it 96 in total. He instantly shoves in, and I fold. Lame?

I don't think so. Pocket 9's, Q's, K's, and A's have you thoroughly dominated.

Meh. I'da reraised PF. Playing it this way you might as well have 44.

The way I was thinking - a reraise preflop, followed by a pot sized bet on the flop has me pretty much pot committed. Lets say you make it 60 preflop - a two times raise. It's an easy fold if he moves in preflop, but say he calls and pots the flop.. do you get away from it? (Thinking about it as I type, I actually see its a good line - easy fold if he pots the flop.. am I right?)

Conditions favorable to a reraise preflop are position and the fact we'll more than likely be headsup. So, in making the reraise, is my reasoning right in that:

1) A two times reraise, making it 60 is a good amount

2) Easy fold if he pushes preflop

3) Fold if he calls and pots the flop

4) Pot it if checked to me, and no ace or king on flop

Am I thinking along the right lines?

I also like the reraise preflop, you have a chance to win it right there, and it will keep him honest on the flop. Its hard to do a stone cold bluff into someone who came over the top of your raise pf. If he does checkraise you after a reraise pf, ur basically 99% sure he has JJ beat.
