na, sounds likely to cause pain in the future. If you want to incorporate something special for birthdays, then have a Birthday Boy Bounty. Everyone (including the b-boy) puts in an extra 10% and whoever busts him gets the bounty. Birthday boy wins the tourney, then he gets the bounty too.

Since this game is 60% social, then just chip in and get the birthday boy his favorite adult beverage. That lets you keep the issues mentioned above out of it.
