150$ for 2/4 @ foxwoods not enough?

I have a personal rule to never use any money I make in real life to gamble, only internet profits. Anyway I was going to get to Foxwoods with a friend today and I'd much prefer to play poker with 150$ than craps. Can I hold up with that? Also the reason I can only get 150 out is because this is last minute and all my cash is tied up elsewhere.

its fine. variance is ultimately what will determine whether its enough.

i'd bring $300 though.

Alright cool. I just got off the phone with them and it seems like the rake isn't too bad either. Variance will prove to be the factor, we'll see how it goes.

I play $2/4 quite a bit and virtually never run through a rack of yellow ($200), even on the worst days. The real question is, how big a disaster is it if you bust out?

And use white for $2/4, no matter what they tell you. This is my little activist project. $2/4 with $2 chips is absurd.

How can you play more than 5 minutes craps with $150?

Why would you want to slow down the game playing with white?

Are your suggesting the 4-8 be played with white as well? I've played 4-8 this way and the game is much slower than using the $2 chips.

4/8 with white is the nuts. Its not slow at all (now, I'm not talking FW, but this is how Canterbury runs it). Now, if you've got morans who don't know how to count 4 chips, then 8 chips, maybe it'll go a little slower, like one hand per hour less, but that's not much to give up.

Basically, any limit game with a single chip denomination where the small bet is 4 chips and the big bet is 8 chips rules. Big pots, big pyramids, spray.
