Has anyone been to a Journey concert in the last few years?

Do they still rock? If so, I'm totally going. Need review pls.

Do a search in the past 6 months. IIRC, somebody did a Journey concert TR over the summer. According to the thread, they do indeed still rock.

Yea I went over the summer to one in Jones Beach, Long Island... They are definately still good and the new lead singer (Steve Augeri) is actually better than Steve Perry.. Some of their new tracks are really good and some should be tossed but they still play all the great classics

I'm sorry, but this is like saying Van Halen is better with Gary Cherone.

I saw them a few years ago in NY. They put on a pretty good show and played just about everything off the Greatest Hits album.

I saw them maybe 3 summers ago in Hartford. Steve Augeri was an excellent alternative to Steve Perry. I usually hate replacement singers, but this dude was a 7 compared to Gary Cherone's 2 (and I actually semi-liked Extreme). Cherone made me want to burn my 3/4 sleeve 'WACF' concert shirt that hasn't fit me for 10 years.....

Strangely, the new Journey didn't play 'Open Arms'. I was personally grateful, but surprised nonetheless.

I saw them this summer in NH. I got very drunk and walked into the show and immediately was hit with some intense journey favorites. Maybe it was the home made T-shirts, my friend getting arrested for climbing onto an awning during Lovin, Touchin, Squeezin and getting arrested or just being at Journey but it was an unforgettable night.

As long as they played "Any Way You Want It", "Don't Stop Believing", and "Lights", I'd be satisfied.

Bonus points for "Stone in Love"
