Tunica Poker

I will be in Tunica next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. What places have tournaments on these days? I know the Grand does, but I would like to know if any other places have them. Also are there any PL/NL games (Omaha or Holdem). If so what are the Blinds. Thanks for any information.

Seems like Goldstrike is running tourneys through the week. Goldstrike also has a NL table on the weekends...maybe during the week. I think its 1/2...but not sure.

The Grand has a nice NL Hold'em tourney on Monday mornings (and Wednesdays I think) that was a lot of fun (I played during the Christmas holidays). I believe it was a $15.00 ($5 tourney pot, $5 house fee, $5 dealer toke) buy-in and $10.00 rebuys during the first hour only. On that day, the top 10 was in the money and 89 were registered.

Tuesday was a limit hold'em tourney that changed to NL at the final table.

How is the structure in this tournament? Are the blinds pretty reasonable? I know a lot of weekly tournaments have very high and fast rising blinds. Thanks for the info.

Wow! A 200% rake right off the top of the pot.

To be honest I don't remember, but we definantly were not rushed. In the event I played, there were 89 entries and I came in 19th and played for 2.5 to 3 hours. I had a blast and can't wait to get there and do it again. It was so much more different than playing a tourney on-line.

Well the dealer toke was optional, but who is going to stick it to the dealers. They already hate dealing in the tourneys and only recieve tips from those that make it into the money, if then.
