$55 ITM: Defend my blind w/ATo vs bigstack blind stealer?

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (3 handed) converter

HERO (t1840)

Preflop: HERO is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

4 and 5 handed, he's been contantly stealing blinds from the smaller stacks. I've seen him fold once to all-in reraise by the blind. Another time he called with k7s and sucked out.

Now that we're ITM, i'm now to his left.

I see 3 options:
1) Call and check/fold if the board doesnt hit me
2) Stop N Go
3) Re-raise all-in preflop

Which would you do? Why?

Does a stop and go require you to act first after the flop?

Ok I'll risk giving bad advice here because I'm sure another poster will correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't think you have enough chips to call and then fold a missed flop. Considering he's called reraised all-in's with marginal hands previously, I push here.

re-raise all-in - you have a hand.

I don't see him checking the flop so you can stop-n-go.

Is this a trick question? Based on your past reads, you likely have the best hand right now. What do you normally do when you have the best hand ITM?

All in preflop.

The stop and go is a non-starter, because SB acts before you on the flop. Committing a quarter of your stack with the plan of checking behind or folding to flop bets on flops you whiff seems poor.

Pushing preflop should be fine, he'll likely fold.

Scuba,

It's been a LOOOOONG time since I was ITM at Lvl4 in $50+5... lol.

At the higher blind lvls, if raised to me and i have ATo ITM, i push reraise because I dont have the chips to play post flop.

In this situation, my 1st instinct was push, then my brain stepped in and said "hey, it's lvl4." So I thought call.

Then my brain said, "Hm... he's a blind stealer."

Now I'm conflicted! Damn my brain

yeah, but a push is 18BB. risk everything this early in the tourny?

Or am i too weak-tight vs the read i have on him?

Also, what if i dont have a read on him. What to do then?
