Locking 3 posts takes 30% of the viewing field on the first screen.

I'm not sure this is an effective use of thread space, and I find it annoying because I am tired, its Friday, and I have a huge drive infront of me.

What do others think?...About the three locked posts.

I'm with you. I think 2 should be the max, although with an extra one for the hurricane relief tournies im willing to give a temporary pass. that 3rd one generally better be for a damn good reason, i think this qualifies.

I think once we have a usable FAQ we should be able to get everything into 1 sticky.

Watch this magic... follow these three steps and it is no longer 30%.

Step 1 (Follow the hand)

Step 2 (Hand Again... Keep your eye on it)

Step 3 (Look at the circle!)

Then enter more than 10 in the boxes and you are golden.

An FAQ is personally my top priority. I know that Chief started working on it so whatever I can do to help him get it in postable shape I will. Basically, my goal as a moderator is more along the lines of content development and focusing on strategic discussions then "moderating".

Agreed LLoyd. I would like to have an FAQ, Weekly Content Post with 'Hands Of the Week' for discussion, links to good threads from the past week, congratulations to big scores by MTT'ers, maybe some contests, etc. Essentially a weekly newletter with an embedded FAQ and Rule Section stickied at the top. The W$ Marketplace will be deleted after the WCOOP and we will see if we go further with that, I have had requests for it to stay and include T$ as well but perhaps that would move off site as it is a pain to manually change the names in that locked post and not having it stickied severely deters from its effectiveness. Anyway, the mods are talking, so hopefully it comes together.

One of the benefits about the W$ not being a sticky; it's that you know the time when somebody is selling the W$.
