Going to Vegas, where to go?

It's been 5 yeares since I've been to Vegas and I am going in 2 weeks, I have no clue where to go.

I will be going with my fiance so we will be doing a lot of sight seeing and the only time I will probably get to play poker is late at night. There will be 1 day where I will have the opportunity to play poker all day and she will go shopping or go to a spa, whatever she wants to do while I play.

Can anyone recomend a casino that has Tournaments going on late at night? Ideally I would like to play in a 1-3 table tourney late at night or a small tournamewnt that will finish in a day.

Any recomendations or links that can provide me with tourney details, locations and times?

Thanks

All daily tournaments finish the day they start. The WSOP and WPT events are the only ones that take more than 1 day.

Most rooms having daily tourneys, only a couple have anything between 7pm and 10am. As the above poster mentioned, the Aladdin has a 2am which I believe is the only one on the strip at that time of day.

www.allvegaspoker.com is the only resource you need to figure out where to play.

Where to stay and what to do away from the tables require a fair bit more research!

The Sahara has one at 11 PM, though it might be a bit far from where you are staying. For cash games, you can find games pretty much anywhere. Most rooms spread some form of low limit (usually 2/4 or 3/6, though the Wynn & Bellagio start out at 4/8), and most of the major hotels have 1/2 or 1/3 NL, except the Bellagio which has 2/5 as it's lowest NL game).

Check out allvegaspoker.com, mentioned by another poster. That's your best resource.

For a fun game, I'd recommend playing 1-2 at the Imperial Palace. Sure, it's not a gorgeous casino, but the players there tend to be more fun, and it's a more laid back atmosphere. Both times I've gone this year, that's where I had the most fun.
