Blackjack
At what true count is the player edge enough to start making big bets? I have been playing a two deck game with over 50% penetration. Playing pure basic strat and waiting for a +5 or better true count to make big bets, changing form one 5$ bet to two 50$ bets. Should I make big bets with lower counts? Is this Strat enough to be +EV?

Re: Blackjack
Bet 1 unit at counts of +1 or below.
Bet 2 units at count of +2 or below. Bet 3 units at count of +3 or below. Bet 5 units at count of +4 or below. Bet 7 units at count of +5 or below. Max Bet at count of +6 or more. *note: you can spread to two hands at counts of +5 or more, bet 75% more on each hand. So at +5, instead of betting 1 hand @ 7 units, play 2 hands @ 5.25 units If you are able to freely spread to multiple hands, if you can determine when the shuffle is about to occur, spread to 2 hands on the last round in any positive count. This gets you deeper into the deck by using more cards in the round before they can shuffle. If you are not heads up with dealer, with other players at the table, you should also spread to multiple hands in any positive count. Play just a single hand (or none at all) in negative counts. Let the other players eat more of the bad cards, and multiple hands in positive counts gives you a bigger share of the good cards. |

Too many "or below's"
The assumption is this is a single level count -- what are the rules? |
