Now that I have your attention, can someone kindly explain to me what they are talking about at Party regarding "The World Speed Poker Championship".

I can only assume it is drug related as I have not been able to find anything out about it other than it is an event. Really, no place can I find on Party where it explains what speed poker is...

It has been billed as "A poker Roller Coaster Rider"

Astoria Palace Casino in Estonia is the venue and they are pumped and ready for an invasion of adrenalin junkies.

This event is designed for the "max generation" and all indications are there will be more than enough of them in Tallinn later this year to make this event a big success.

So what's it all really about?

In a nutshell - it's a poker tournament where the clock never ever stops running.

The dealer deals and starts the 15 second player clock when the action is on you.

No time to think about all the possibilities or your hand is declared dead when the 15 second bell rings!!!

If that doesn't scare you - how about this?

They have 2 dealers for every table - one to shuffle and one to deal. Hand rate is guaranteed to hit 60 hands an hour, and it gets better!!!!

Only 6 players per table.... This is action poker personified.

Did we mention what the "player countdown clocks" look like? Well you are going to love the look!!! 24 of the sexiest looking young girls in Estonia have been signed up to stand behind each player and hold the time clock. If that is not enough to put you off your game we don’t know what is.

If the poker action is not enough of an adrenalin rush for you - how about what the organizers have planned for the trophy presentation!!!.

No speeches, no pictures - just hand out the trophies, pile into the limo's and head to the forest where everyone is armed with a "paint splat gun" for 2 hours of crazy action.

Now you would think this would be enough for anyone but it gets crazier!!! All those interested will then head to the airport and head up for some skydiving - and all this before they play the final event of the week.
