colorado poker rooms?

I'm gonna be in colorado in a couple months and i was wondering if anyone could give me any reports on any of the poker rooms in the black hawk area? I'm gonna be staying in breckenridge, so I'd like to play someplace within 30 minutes or so of there.

Thanks.

The Lodge in Blackhawk

Get there early, lots of tables but you'll be on a wait list if you come later.

Last I knew they were all "spread limit" games, spreading 2/5 and 5/5, as you can guess 5 is the maximum bet, 5/5 are wild games with big swings, 2/5 generally less so but not always.

The closest poker room is at Fortune Valley, which is in Central City, about 45 minutes from Breckenridge. Players there can sometimes be tight, but they've got great dealers, and the wait usually is not too bad.

About a mile down the street from Central City is Black Hawk. Several options there: the Lodge, Gilpin, Colorado Central Station and Mountain High. I avoid the Lodge. On weekends, the rake is 10% up to $5, plus another $2 for the bad beat jackpot.

Five dollars is the maximum bet in Colorado and most games are 2/5 spread limit. Some of the rooms also offer 5/5 games.

The Gilpin has stuctured games, including 2/4 and 1/2/5, and offers constant tournaments.

The Gilpin has a very nice room, and great dealers.

If I were you, I'd play at Fortune Valley or the Gilpin.

Those are my thoughts.
