I had the honor of playing a sattelite with Tuch at the 2005 WSOP. He did not say a word during the entire sattelite (he did not win it though). I thought I recognized him from The Bike and asked him if he played there. He said "yes, The Bike" and then went into his game. Not a word after that.

Actually Bart,
The fat in the dressing helps the body metabolize the veggies and if there is vinegar in the dressing it dampens the insulin spike from the carbs in the main course. So don't forget to toss the salad. I keeed, I keeed.

Here's an awesome Joe Theismann quote from 2002:

"It's a myth when people say the Bucs can't win in cold weather. Statistically, there is some truth because they are 0-20 when the temperature is 40 degrees or lower."

Joe Thiesmann, what an a-hole Changed the pronunciation of his name to rhyme with "Heisman", didn't win, but kept the change anyway.

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (12/16) (10/20 NL)

you guys are really showing your limit backgrounds by constantly advocating raises with one pair hands. that is largely a mistake in no limit. that K9 guy wins the most in that hand because he doesn't raise - too bad he cant make the river call. if you raise, you almost always get worse hands to fold and better ones to call. top pair is not the nuts the way it is in limit.

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (12/16) (10/20 NL)

i wouldn't raise on the flop w k9 but would definately bet it.

Admittedly, my own game has more holes in it than the stars in the heavens LOL but my worst sin is boredom, I get bored and dont keep my mind in the game what are some of the ways to "force" myself to concentrate on the game at hand and not let my mind wander???? I'm sure it must happen to you guys too what are some things you have found to beat back distraction?

Apparently, Daniel Negreanu has discovered the wonderful world of prop betting. Says it keeps him focused.

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (12/16) (10/20 NL)

We need prop betting while watching this show. Or maybe a drinking game. Take a drink whenever someone limps or calls a raise with two offsuit non-paired cards under 6! Of course we'd all be on the floor in about 30 minutes.

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (12/16) (10/20 NL)

Here are some odd stats
Tampa Bay...
After a win are 5-5
After playing Panthers are 7-3
When playing outside division are 6-4
When they are a dog on the road are 4-6
After being out gained by opponent are 4-6
When playing on grass are 7-3
When playing in December are 5-5

New England...
After a win are 4-5
After playing Bills are 6-4
When playing outside division are 5-5
When they are favored at home are 9-1
After out gaining opponent are 7-3
When playing on grass are 5-5
When playing in December are 9-1

Going to be an intresting game.

Bart, Tuch well done. Have a good weekend.
Lee is a great example of the idea that poker isn't about
playing great. Poker is about accumulating money.
Freddy Deeb said that you don't have to be a great player if you make solid decisions pretty consistently.
All the best.

I love it when great players like Mo lose out on a ton of money by varying their bet size, while novices like Barry Goldstein just bet the same amount all the time.

Is it just me or isn't it annoying how someone shows a hand to a buddy neighbor while still in a hand. I don't know, just bothers me. One man, one hand.
