Player 1..first to act..calls $.50 blind.
couple of other calls+folds
Player before SB raised 2$
sb fold
I'm BB..I have QQ..I reraise $8.

Player 1 calls.
first raiser folds.

flop

5 jack 10 (rainbow)

i go all in with QQ

he calls with AK

Q on turn 8 on river

What should I have done??

I'm confused - is this an sng or a NL ring game. Either way you got your money in with the best of it and they drew out on you, nothing you can do about it. You might want to make a note on that person, but other than that, nothing you can do.

What do you want people to say? Check fold the flop?

You will get much more helpfull responses if you write your question clearer(Including stack sizes, which players called, what kind of tournament is this etc...)

When you get the money in as the favorite to win, we consider the hand to be played well. You did just that, so feel good.

When you say "what should I have done?", what do you think could be better? If we were to do it again a 2nd time and you knew he had AK on the flop, would you want him to call?
