I hate getting put to the test...

Villian in this hand was laggy and aggressive, and i felt that he was little fired up from a previous hand i played against, which is here:

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

SB checks, Hero bets, SB folds.

Final Pot: 8 BB

This was two hands later i belive, so i don't think he needs a hand here. What is your action and why?

if you hadnt reraised A3o, you wouldnt have this problem.
id lay it down on the turn.

This is true, but i always wouldn't have ended heads up against a button raiser who plays poorly post flop with hand that probably has positive equity against his range and gotten some dead money in the pot.

because you're supposed to do what with A3o in the SB vs a Lag? Flawless, you've seemed bitter of late. Trouble at home?

As for the hand, I think this is a fold, even vs. this guy.

I question how positive your effective equity can be considering your opponent is aggressive and has the Button.

By the way, i just wanted to make clear that i'm not soo in love with 3 betting this every time, i think this can be a hnad where i might be convinced otherwise, i don't people to think i'm not receptive about the preflop logic. After thinking about some more, i still like my 3 bet, but it's closer than i orgininally thought.

I don't get that sense at all from your posts, fwiw. I find you one of the more open minded and improvement oriented posters on the forum. Plus, if you knew it was right then why would you post it? Right?

Exactly the sort of edge you want to be pushing out of position against an aggro player likely to put you to the test on the turn...

This equity does not account for the blinds. For $125 he bought 50.4% of a $350 pot.

Still there is the problem of how to play the rest of the hand correctly, but on equity alone it's not as close as PS makes it appear.
