Deep in a $20 stars 180-person, I suffered the worst beat of my life

Not the most unlikely beast of my life... just the most painful as of yet. I was 5th out of 22 people left with 13000 chips. Payouts started at 18 and I was playing extra-tight so I could definitely make it for once.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t600 (8 handed) converter

Hero (t13330)
UTG (t5522)
UTG+1 (t10988)
MP1 (t22448)
MP2 (t16479)
CO (t5958)
Button (t8503)
SB (t5611)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
1 fold, UTG+1 raises to t1800, 1 fold, MP2 calls t1800, 3 folds, Hero raises to t6000, UTG+1 calls t4200, MP2 calls t4200.

Flop: (t18300) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets t7280 (All-In), UTG+1 calls t4938 (All-In), MP2 folds.

Turn: (t30518) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players, 2 all-in)

River: (t30518) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players, 2 all-in)

Final Pot: t30518

Results below:
Hero has A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (two pair, aces and kings).
UTG+1 has K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (full house, kings full of twos).
Outcome: UTG+1 wins t28176. Hero wins t2342.

The absolute horror. Had I doubled up I would've been the chip leader and well on my way to winning the $1000 first prize. Why do I always get rivered on stars? WHYYYYYYYY?
