Quick way to tell if a desktop can handle 2 monitors

What is a quick way to tell if my desktop is able to handle 2 monitors? I know it can go up up to 1600x1200 on a single monitor.

I only see one "blue cable" hookup in the back.

Thank you

You are probably using onboard integrated video and therefore can only use one monitor. Depending on your motherboard there are several affordable graphics card options that will allow for dual monitor output, no matter which graphic card interface (PCI, AGP, PCIx) that your pc allows for.
