$55: Top pair, late stage blind battle

When I have healthy stack I sometimes limp in the SB to see if the BB likes to push. That may be a leak. Anyway, do you play any differently on this flop? What range do you put villain on?

I'd raise it preflop but I think I like the flop play and would probably go broke here as well. It looks to me like he's making a "outplay you" raise here.

I love the "tester limp" as well...but later in the game. It's much more important (to me) to know how the BB will react when 3-handed and heads up. With 6 left, I think it's far more important to collect that big fat blind. You have an OK hand and a bigger stack than BB. I'd just pop it to 450 PF and see what happens.

As you played it, I'm absolutely pushing as you did with TP/Excellent kicker. No doubt.

Does anyone else make "feeler" limps like these?

What's the point? Limp and there's a good chance you'll be reraised all in. Limp and watch a bunch of rags fall and you don't where you are. This is especially true of a super-Meh hand like K9. Make a standard raise and take down the blinds 80% of the time.

I'd get to see cheap flops with hands I otherwise would have folded. I would still raise most hands however. I definitely should have raised the hand in question however, it was pretty dumb on my part.

I'd raise if blinds were 50/100. At 75/150 I'd prefer to limp/minraise because of BB's shallow stack.
