Second 2001FP (ie 3rd display) - whats my video card needs?
 

I have a dell inspiron 9200 notebook w/ ATI Mobility Radeon 9700.

Currently I have a 2001FP hooked up in addition to the notebook display. My question is: will this video card be able to handle an additional 2001FP, so I can have 3 screens working on an extended desktop?

i asked the exqct same question a few days ago. General consent is yes, you need a new graphics card, and yes, putting in a nwq one on a laptop would be uber-expensive.

So I cant do it just with the video card I have? Gotta go find something else to plug in there?

found a sweet USB port for another monitor on newegg for $5, doesnt do any good withpout a new graphics card tho... [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]
