correct push?

No reads...
How many times do you push this?
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 4 handed) converter

Hero ($27.60)
Button ($8.20)
SB ($20.10)
BB ($20.90)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.10.
Hero calls $0.25, 1 fold, SB (poster) completes, BB raises to $0.75, Hero calls $0.75, SB calls $0.75.

Flop: ($3) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, BB bets $1, Hero raises to $4, SB folds, BB raises to $10, Hero ???

Re: correct push?

I always push this, you have a very sexy hand against a preflop raiser.

Preflop I think you should raise, unless you have a specific opponent-dependent reason not to.

edit: look up the stats of your hand vs KK on this flop and you'll see what I'm talking about

I'd push this about everytime probably against a preflop raiser

I push, you're betting 15 to win 25. You have basically no f/e, but 12 outs (and maybe the A). It's a bit awkward in as much as it's very close.

Calling his small flop bet is an option. Then you can really get him to play incorrectly.

I think if stacks are deeper this is an easier push. I just dont know about this one. i think you let this go.
wow i cant believe i just said that but yes fold you dont have enough FE to make him fold and only a better hand calls you.

Re: correct push?

Guy, you have at the minimum 33% equity (against a set), $18 in the pot, and $9 left in the villain's stack. Push it.

Re: correct push?

if stacks were deeper then we can explore options other than a push. we don't need fold equity since there is dead money in the pot and our pot equity itself is high enough against villain's range on this board.
