Rusty after a long layoff--move down a level? (semi-LC)
Hi all,
So I haven't played any poker for nearly 2 months--wanted to focus more on my schoolwork. So winter break has started, and I'm itching to get back in the game. So I load up 4 tables of 10/20 6max, and things just weren're going all that well. My poker intuition was the same, but the emotional swings of poker got to me, and I made some somewhat silly calldowns and other non-optimal play. In addition, the fish just aren't as abundant as they used to be. So I decided to revisit the land of 5/10 6max, and the games are just much easier and more passive. I feel like I can shake off the rust off my game while probably making more than I would at 10/20 6max. If you were in my spot, what would you do? |

I think you should play 5/10 until you hit a certain target. I don't know your level / play amount but this may be best.

Where's play 5/10 until you feel confident in your game and then move up?

I voted hands goal, but really, if its mental problems you're experiencing, then play until those mental problems are resolved.
