absolute arp store new stuff
 

If anybody hasn't been to the arp store in absolute, they have a few more items. they added some boxers, a hat, subscriptions to magazines (cardplayer etc.), a new book too.
I'm glad to see that they are adding some new things. does anybody know if they plan on adding anything more... I'd hate to spend all my points on boxer shorts just to find out I could have got an absolute poker speedo instead.

On a similar vein, any recommendations about the Magazines (Card Player, Bluff, Poker Life) - are they worth reading?

If you haven't read card player you're missing out. The others are nowhere near as good, but they aren't bad.

I laughed when I saw one guy that used the picture of the Mark Seif-bobblehead as avatar and played at the Mark Seif-table.

I'd really like them to add some big ticket items like nice chip sets and even trips to Vegas a la True.

Looks like their $20 for 5,000pnts is still the best option. They dont come along real often, but $40 for a years subscription seems high.

CP is like toilet paper, its worth a lot if you dont live near a casino to pick it up for free, otherwise, its not worth the $, BTW, personally, of all the Poker magazines, they seem to have it together better than anyone elst out there.

Cardplayer is a very good magazine. It's still available for free at casinos?
