Wilson Turbo poker vs. Poki-Poker (Poker academy pro)

Im going to buy one of these programs. Is one better than the other?

Price is not really a factor in my decision between the two.

I am mainly a Limit player, but i do play some NL, NL tourneys, and some omaha.

Im getting this for my laptop so I have something to practice/learn on when Im not connected to the internet.

I hope im not "that guy" by asking a question that was previously asked a few lines down, but I checked the past few pages and didnt see anything about this.

Thanks for your help.

The Poker Academy has a free trial program download on their site...it works for like 30 days...also limited to 100 unique hands.

I use Wilson's because I bought this before knowing about Poker Academy...
Graphically Poker Academy is nicer...but both programs will pretty much help you meet your objectives....to train
The Poker Academy also includes NL hold em tournament simulations with its program making it an added benefit.
Hope this helps....

Try this

I have Poker Academy 2 and the more I try out its features, the more I like it. I've learned how to program each opponent to make them more like my real opponents, and I'm starting to find holes in my game.

I've got both. I found Poker Academy too passive post flop and Wilson to aggressive.

In the NL tournies in PA, there are several bots you can just min-bet and get to fold despite the fact the pot odds really require a call.

In Wilson, they will call with incredibly weak hands at times.

They're both good though as far as being able to train on a bazillion hand quickly against moderately competent opponents.

The bots in PA are very configurable. If you want them to be more aggressive, just edit them and drag the passive/aggressive postflop slider to make it more aggressive.

Likewise, if you want them to make crying calls more with gutshots and small pairs, check off the draw options.
