6-table LHE strategy?

I'm looking for game theory for 6 tables small stakes hold'em, SSH doesn't cover it much. So what I actually need is rather theory about what differs 6-table strategy from 10-tables. Any suggestions about books or articles that could put some light on the subject is appreciated.

Nothing. There is absolutely no difference. Except you're never in early position.

What about the blinds? Must be more important to protect them?

Mathematically and game theory-wise, this is correct. Which is important to understand. However, psychologically and game selection-wise there are some differences. People tend to be more loose and more aggressive.

People here often say that King Yao's "Weighing the Odds..." has a good section on shorthanded games.

It's more important to not make mistakes in them, yes. Mistakes that in a 10-handed game might reduce your winnings, might in a 6-handed game make you a loser. But any changes to your strategy you make in a 6-handed game, you should also make in a 10-handed game, since it will increase your winnings there too. Always, of course, adapting to your opponents play, position, etc.

SSH is totally useless for 6-handed. It assumes loose live games where lots of players see the flop. HPFAP, SS2, and MLH are more appropriate.

This question has been asked several times in the last week.

Check out Weighing the Odds in Hold'em by King Yao.
The shorthanded chapter in HEFAP if you play lots of 2-3 handed poker. (Don't do this at lower limits, rake will most likely kill you on most sites. Don't even consider doing it on PokerRoom.)
Jason Pohl wrote some articles which google will find for you.
Ed Miller has atleast one article in the free web magazine on this site.

The shorthanded forums here is where the gold is at though. Read, learn and practice.

This is very, very, very true. The short handed rake at Pokerroom & skins will destroy you even if you are one of the best poker players in the world. The 10 handed rake at Pokerroom & skins is also brutal for anything under about 5/10 or so fwiw. I know this has been posted before, but I think people need to be reminded of the true effects of the brutal rake on the pokeroom network for mid and low limits.
