Flopped set in raised pot

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 6 handed) converter

BB is a solid player, so the only hands I can put him on here are 33, A3s, and A4s. There is an outside chance of AA, but Im not worried about that. How do you guys play this?

Button ($28.05)
Hero ($46.05)
BB ($77.65)
UTG ($11.5)
MP ($21.59)
CO ($55.34)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $0.1.
2 folds, CO raises to $0.85, 1 fold, Hero (poster) calls $0.75, BB calls $0.60.

Flop: ($2.55) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $4, CO folds, Hero calls $4.

Turn: ($10.55) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $7, Hero calls $7.

River: ($24.55) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $34.20 (All-In)...

overbet the pot on the river? Why are you putting him on anything. Would he not lead out if that ace hit him? I think it's just as likely he has only ace high as any of the hands you mentioned unless he's just uber tight. I'd raise the turn so that i can get all the money in on any river card. You want to go to the felt here because you are ahead so much more often than you are behind.

Raise pot on turn.
All-in river.

Re: Flopped set in raised pot

bet the flop so that you'll build a pot big enough to get your stack in by the river

failing that, check-raise the turn although now stacks are kind of awkward since a pot-sized check-raise only leaves you a few bucks. meh.

your line is too obviously a set. if he's really solid, i'd expect him to fold anything that you beat. leading the flop makes the rest of the hand easier to play and will let you extract more money from hands that you're ahead of.

Definitely lead the flop with BB between you and the raiser hoping for the raise behind you, then C/R all in on the turn. As you played it, you need to C/R the turn to make the villain call the river push(unless he really hit it hard anyway).
