Badass RC Car

I happened upon this when I was going through my computer today. These guys rigged up a real Toyota... Camry I think it was to be remote controlled and then beat the hell out of it in the desert. It's a few years old and about 10MB, but it's a cool video.

The impressive thing here is that this is probably less expensive that the 2 stroker version available in hobby shops.

The only thing missing was the streaming LEDs on the grille of the car, that would've made this beast perfect.

I didn't need to hear "RC Car" right now. My RS4/2 (nitro) does about 50 mph...or...errr...did, till it did 50 mph into a curb at the Giants game. Everything was fine until the new 2-speed tranny I had just installed kicked in.

I have a couple of electric Losi's also and use to race in Milpitas, and I was of course The Man.

Fun chit, but a crazy expensive hobby.

I was surprised at how well it seemed to be standing up to the abuse until they rolled it.
