Poker Tracker Questions

I am a new at poker (4 months) and just downloaded the trial version of PT. I have a couple of questions:

What is a good "sample size" to get an accurate read on how I am doing?

What are some particular areas to pay attention to and how do I find my "leaks"?

Thanks

Re: Poker Tracker Questions

You'll need to pay for the software to get a realistic sample size, 1000 hands is nothing. Good sample sizes are 50k to a 100k hands. What you can do on your way there is start seeing how many hands you play, and how aggressive you are with them. You can also start seeing what hands are making money and which ones aren't, which should reinforce the SSHE starting hand table a bit.

Re: Poker Tracker Questions

It'll show under the session tab. If you single table, the number of hours shown is your true time spent at the tables. If you multitable, check the true win rate box, and it will show your true winnings per hour and the amount of hours you've played.
