Pen Names?
 

Wikipedia says that "Ray Zee" is a pen name. If this is true(I had no idea), who is "Ray"?

It is called a Pen Name b/c the real person does not want you to know his real name...duh!

But try searching for the dude if you really want to know who it is

hmm, never thought to look up my poker idol on wikipedia...apparantly, according to wikipedia, Ray Zee isn't his real name

Ray Zee along with El D and some other regular poster names here, is just one of the personalities of a poker player with split personalities. A poker Sybil. No telling how many there are total. I wonder how many of them are LAGs.

I'm wondering if they've got Ray confused with somebody else who writes for 2p2. If you google "ray zee pen name" all you get are hits for this Suzuki cat, another author.

No, try going to RGP (google groups, rec.gambling.poker, pen name or pseudonym) and doing the same query. You get a bunch of hits, some of which mention that several names are pen names. But there's no excitement or information beyond that.

Even by RGP standards all the threads are silly. Unlike a lot of threads from RGP they seem to be boring, too.
