Crypto Upgrade Problem (Caribean Sun)

So this morning (GMT) I get prompted by Caribean Sun to upgrade software. I click yes and the upgrade assistant is on the screen and doesn't update - the % doesn't move.

I uninstall and reinstall. Works fine.

Now it tells me again it needs to update. Again it is frozen. Any ideas? Is this likely a firewall problem? Anyone else suffering from this?

I upgraded this morn. Got to 99%, then took a couple of mins. to finish. other than that, no problem.

i frequently have this problem when installing a new poker-site.

doesn't happen when i install via mozilla-firefox...only with ie-explorer.
If it's one that I have to do through explorer it can sometimes take several tries.

I had a similar weird problem with PokerPlex.

It kept saying I needed to upgrade, would do the upgrade, but would keep saying I needed the upgrade.....

I wasnt getting anywhere so I finally just went to the website and installed it from scratch.

I went to InterPoker and had no problems, so I imagine these are just glitches in the Crypto install program, no biggie.

You probably already considered this, but it is worth reminding others that you have to be logged on as the Administrator account on your computer before successfully updating most poker room client software.

Ninety-nine+ percent of the time I'm online it is as a Limited user. When any of my poker clients try to update, it is always to a C:\Program Files\ subdirectory, no matter where I actually have the poker client installed.

Edit: My 200th post! I don't post much.

I'm having the same problem with both Caribbean and Poke Plex. I hit Yes to update, and then it stays at 0% forever. This is really screwing me up, as it's the weekend and I need to get some whoring done.

Edit: After fooling with [censored] for a little while, I think it had something to do with my firewall. Since I couldn't find the right settings to change, I downloaded Plex again and no update was necessary.

You need to make sure that UA.exe is not blocked by your firewall or anti-virus software, for the crypto upgrades to process successfully.

For some reason, a recent change they made to their upgrade checking process makes it look like a worm
