87o in BB, flopped overs+ISD

Weak or ok?

Full Tilt 5/10, no reads.

I'm in BB with 87o.

Preflop: UTG limps, button limps, I check.

Flop: 644 r

I check, UTG bets, button folds, I fold.

Standard IMO. The pot is small and we have slim draw

Fold is OK.

Against somewhat tight players I would checkraise any broadway turn card at least sometimes. Not every time, but this is a good bluffing situation + you have 10 outs most of the time.

So it's more like bet/call flop. How about turn then. Do we fire second bullet if we miss.?

Standard = opponent dependent. If you're up against people who will take TJ/Kx/Ax/any PP to the river on a flop like this, you can check/fold. If the average pot size has been tiny and a bet has a reasonable (1/4 or so) chance to take it down uncontested, or to fold out at least one and the other isn't a 'go to the river' type, then bet and bet again.

Betting but not continuing the turn has its place too, but since you're going to get called by at least one and going to miss most of the time, I'm not seeing a lot of justification unless you really can pick this up on the flop at least 1 in 5

Given your checking line, yes, fold to the bet. But betting is far superior.

another thing here I just thought off is that when a player in BB bets here he gets more respect from thinking players since you can't really put BB on any hands. BB is probably the most likely player to hold a four.
